These are the perfect size to hold treats. Not too deep that you have to stick your whole hand in. Just right to just grab a treat with my fingers. I can't imagine using more treats than this bag holds in one training session. A dog can only focus so long you know. We always use the clip on the back which holds tight to all kinds of clothing and has never come loose even with lots of bending. It hangs down from the waistline well so a shirt doesn't interfere. The bag also has a belt loop if you wear belts. Our family has several of these bags now and they are the only ones we continue to use. The only drawback is you can't choose your color when ordering.

3.0 out of 5 stars Frayed strings prevent closing., July 20, 2015

The tote stays open very well and is easy to access. I have only had this for about a month now and the draw string is fraying which makes it impossible to close now. The draw string is a pretty woven design with multiple colors but because of the many small strings involved, the tote is not able to close because the small strings get caught.

It is a pretty sturdy treat bag but there are some issues that make it not especially handy to use. First, it's not all that small. Our dogs are very small and their treats are tiny which means they get lost in this bag unless we pack a two month supply in there. Second, it comes open easily if you don't pay attention to the closure and I cannot even begin to tell you how many times the dogs got a bagful dumped right in front of them - of course they imagined they did something spectacular to deserve a million treats at once but usually it opened at the wrong moment, like when crossing the street, picking up poop, or as the elevator doors opened. Inconvenient. Then the toggle broke so keeping the top closed is not even an option at this point. It still is attached but something broke because the spring is waving in the wind. The belt clip itself is ok, a little large. It might work well say, on a belt, but we use it on the leash and since (you know, small dogs) our leashes are very thin, it is a little cumbersome. If you luck out and get one that stays closed, where the toggle stays together and you have larger treats and you attach it to a belt, I bet this works great. It is a nice medium bag (I have the small one and I still call it medium) but doesn't work for our very small dogs. Wish it did.
